The Musical Director:  Mike Pratt

Mike comes from a musical family - his father, Ted, was a well-respected player, teacher and conductor.  Mike appears to have boundless energy as a conductor.  His musicianship and enthusiasm ensure that the band puts on "a great show" each and every time they perform.  He's also an accomplished Euphonium player with a proven track record, having played with such bands as York Railway Institute and Yorkshire Imperial.  He is now Principal Euphonium with the Shepherd Group Senior Brass Band  in addition to his Concert Band conducting duties.  Where does he find the time...?
